“I beg to disagree that most of my films are sexy. If you watched my recent film, by Direk Jason Paul Laxamana, Baby Boy, Baby Girl na nag-number one sa Amazon Prime, which had no sexy scenes at all,” sabi ni Kylie.
“Sometimes it’s not my fault anymore. But, I don’t know why. I don’t try to be sexy or anything. I guess it’s, you know, it’s just natural. I don’t try to be anything more than I am. It’s the way you talk, it’s the way you carry yourself,” dagdag niya.
Pero malakas yung dating, malakas yung…she fights for something she holds… she believes in Pedro Penduko. For me, parang simple na woman, hindi lang lalaki ang puwedeng makipag-away. May mga babae na puwedeng mag-excel in different forms of let’s say martial arts,” sabi pa niya.
“I was so happy when Director Jason Paul , who also directed me in ‘Baby Boy, Baby Girl’, got me to play the role of Liway in ‘Penduko’, which is pambata. I am a mananambal here, who has special powers, and I get to do a lot of action scenes. Noon ko pa gusto mag-try ng action and I’m glad I got to do it here in Penduko,” sabi ni Kylie.
“I like Liway kasi she represents woman empowerment. She’s the valedictorian in their class, she’s a strong woman who champions women’s rights. I trained for the fight scenes we have in the movie, specially how to do arnis. Challenging talaga ang role ni Liway kasi I’m also made to deliver long lines in malalalim na Tagalog and I’m so happy naitawid ko naman siya,” dagdag pa niya.
