“Itong mga witnesses namin, para silang kulong doon, serious illegal detention, they want to go home, they want to get out of the contract or arrangement nila, kinukulong sila. They were not allowed to go outside the premises.
“We also are checking how they got in the country, considering that they have no work visa, how they were recruited. The fact that they were even present to work without without any kind of permit or visa, human trafficking talaga’yon,” dagdag niya.
Kung matatandaan, pasado alas-7 ng gabi noong Huwebes nang pasukin ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), PNP Special Action Force at PNP Intelligence Group ang isang gusali sa Clark Sun Valley Hub, sa Mabalacat City.
“Nagsurveillance tayo, pinag-aralan natin, pero napatunayan naman natin na totoo so we applied for warrant to disclose computer data,” ayon kay PNP-ACG spokesperson Police Capt. Michelle Sabino.
“Initially nare-recruit sila online, minimum recruitment, only required of them para ma-employ is magaling mag-English at magaling magtype. So basically, ‘yun lang then they will undergo 5-6 days training kung saan tinuturuan sila ng communication skills… The stories they have… they are not allowed to go out of their dormitories, they are not allowed to talk, even to smoke for 10 minutes and they’re working 18 hours a day. Ang promise nila is 8,000 won na pagkinonvert mo dito is 60 to 70 pesos. You start with 100 points but you’ll end up [na] walang nakakakuha ng 100 points dahil ang dami nilang violation,” ayon kay Sabino.
