Magbabakasyon lang sana ang mga magulang ng singer na si Tippy Dos Santos sa South Korea, nang masangkot sila aksidente sa sasakyan, dahilan upang masawi ang kanyang ina.
Sa edad na 58 ay pumanaw si Happy Dos Santos na magdidiwang sana ng kanyang ika-59 kaarawan sa Enero 5.
Inanusiyo ang malungkot na balitang ito sa kanyang Facebook account nitong Sabado.
“Dear family and friends, on December 30th 2023, our beloved Happy passed away after suffering injuries from a traffic accident in Seoul, Korea. She fought for her life, but in the end, the Lord decided to bring our beloved Happy home,” saad sa naturang post na may litrato ni Happy na nakaupo sa gitna ng hardin.
“The hurt of this loss to our family is indescribable and we will miss her every single day. As her husband, the light of my life and the light of my world was extinguished. As for my daughters, they have lost the most caring and loving mother any child could ask for,” pagpapatuloy nila.
Inilarawan naman si Happy bilang ‘bright’ at ‘full of energy.’
“She knew how to light up every room she was in. Happy was caring and generous, she would provide you with any assistance you needed from her — no questions asked. Happy was so loving and she devoted much of her energy to making sure people she loved knew and felt her love,” saad nila.
“We will never forget the love and happiness that she brought into our lives, and we know that she has touched many others the same way. We love you forever dearest bride, mama, and Loli Haps.”
Naglabas naman ng pahayag si Tippy nitong Lunes kaugnay sa nangyari.
Sabi niya, bagamat hindi pa sila nakatutugon sa mga mensahe sa kanilang pamilya, sila ay ‘grateful’ para rito.
Sa ngayon daw ay inaalam pa nila kung paanong mamuhay nang hindi na kasama ang kanilang ina.
“Dear family and friends, I would like to thank everyone who has reached out to my family and I during this time. Although we are unable to respond to each and every one of you, please know we are grateful,” saad niya sa kanyang Instagram post.
“There are really no words to express the devastation and heartbreak the loss of my mom has caused us. Please bear with us as we try to figure out how to love without mama physically in our lives,” dagdag pa niya.
Nagpahayag naman ng pakikisimptaya ang ilang kaibigan niya sa showbiz.
“Praying for Tita Happy and your family @tippydossantos8. Please please stay strong,” sabi ni Angeline Quinto.
“I love you, ate,” koment ni Miles Ocampo.
“Condolence, Tippy. Was shocked when I heard the news. Tita Happy always lit up the room when she was around. I can still clearly remember the last time I saw her… a smiling face waving at me while I was singing at a party. She will be truly missed,” sabi ni Jed Madela.
“My deepest condolences to your family Tippy,” galing naman kay Mark Bautista.
Ayon sa ulat, ang mga magulang Tippy na sina Happy at John ay naaksidente matapos dumating sa Seoul para sana sa saglit na bakasyon noong Disyembre 27. Sinugod si Happy sa intensive care unit at na-coma. Kasalukuyan namang nagpapagaling ang kanyang ama.
