“@pawssionproject can no longer rescue these aspins at the Bacolod City Pound. They no longer receive donations and nobody wants to adopt anymore. Which means these aspins may likely be killed by gunshot by the end of the week. And yes, euthanasia by gunshot is legal,” sabi ni Carla.
“As much as we want to take it one dog, one cat, one day at a time, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE given the number of reports and messages we receive daily. We are already exhausted in all aspects and we honestly wish we could just take all of them right away, but what always limits us is the lack of resources — funds, space, manpower, time. The dogs in the pounds may just never get their chance despite all our efforts. We really feel like we’re fighting a losing battle. PLEASE, HELP US HELP THEM BY PROMOTING ADOPTION. Again, they still have food supplies for the next 10 days, but we do not know if we can still continue feeding them. We have included on our previous post the transfers and purchases for the pound. 10 sacks (P16,400) and 9-11k worth of rice, meat, kalabasa weekly. We also feel awful that they have to live there 24/7. Adoption is the best option and best.”
