Pumanaw nitong Martes si Palawan Representative Edward Hagedorn sa edad na 76.
Kinumpirma ng tauhan ni Hagedorn na si Jennica Lim ang malungkot na balita.
Nasa Puerto Princesa, Palawan si Hagedorn nang bawian ng buhay. Dating alkalde ng nasabing lungsod ang kongresista.
Ipagdiriwang sana niya ang kaniyang ika-77 taong kaarawan sa October 12.
Ayon sa ulat, maglalabas ng detalye ang pamilya tungkol sa burol at libing ng kongresista.
“With heavy hearts, we inform you of the passing of a beloved friend, brother, husband, father, and public servant, Edward Solon Hagedorn. Our dear Congressman died peacefully on October 3rd, 2023, after 76 years of shining his light into the world,” saad ng pamilya sa isang FB post.
Kung matatandaan, tinawag si Hagedorn bilang “champion for the environment, tourism, agriculture, and peace and order.”
“His efforts created inclusive spaces for the community and inspired a collective desire for change. It’s hard not to be infected by his energy and laughter, which he freely shares with everyone he encounters,” ayon pa sa pahayag.
