TILA lumilinaw na ang tunay na dahilan ng pagbabalik sa Pilipinas ng bunsong anak ni Kris Aquino na si Bimby Yap.
Inilathala kamakailan na magkasama sa isang larawan ang pamunuan ng talent agency na Cornerstone Entertainment Inc. at si Bimby, pati si Boy Abunda na nagsilbing guardian niya habang nasa Amerika pa si Kris Aquino.
“The Cornerstone fam with Bimb. Exciting days are truly ahead for the young star,” ayon sa caption.
“Mr. Boy Abunda stood in as a guardian for Bimb while Kris is still away.”
Kamakailan ay nakipagkita si Bimby sa kanyang amang si James Yap matapos ang walong taon.
Sa isang Instagram post, inihayag ni Kris ang kagalakan sa nabuo muling koneksyon ng mag-ama .
“He’s had the number to contact for almost a week, and the reluctance was so real, yet he took the first step towards rebuilding a relationship that I know will require some time to repair. Pero ang mahalaga ay nagsimula na,” sabi ni Kris.
Giit ng aktres, batid niya ang hirap ng walang ama kaya’t ayaw niyang maranasan ito ni Bimby.
“Ayokong masabi na pinipigilan ko si Bimb… my own childhood was fatherless because of Martial Law, so why’d I subject my bunso to the same fate?” aniya.
“From the time Bimb was 8, he had the freedom to decide… Now at 16 I told him, ‘When someone reaches out after 7 years, and there’s a chance for peace, then everyone wins,'” dagdag ng aktres.
