Nagbigay ng payo ang aktres na si Maxene Magalona sa mga taong mahilig uminom o mag-party na may dinadamdam at ayon sa kanya ay okay lang namang mag-enjoy pero dapat siguraduhing nasa magandang kondisyon bago uminom ng alak.
“Fridays are for enjoying the weekend, yes. But please make sure that you are in a good state before pouring yourself a glass of wine or taking that shot of tequila,” saad ni Maxene sa kanyang IG.
“Please don’t unconsciously drown yourself in alcohol because you are trying to numb some kind of pain or discomfort,” dagdag niya.
Sabi rin ng aktres na kung ikaw ay nakakaramdam ng lungkot o nasasaktan ay mas mainam nang iiyak ito o isigaw para matanggal ang masamang enerhiya.
“Do yourself a favor and make sure to feel your feelings and not just drink them away. Cry it out if you need to. Scream into a pillow. Feel and release negative energy instead of running away and distracting yourself with pleasure,” sabi ni Maxene.
Inamin ni Maxene na napagdaanan na niya ang ganitong mga karanasan kaya alam niya kung ano ang pakiramdam.
“I know this because I’ve been there and believe me—it’s a waste of time and energy [grinning face with sweat emoji]. I used to drink to get wasted so that I wouldn’t have to feel my pain which was why my alcohol intake was limitless,” sabi ni Maxene.
Proud pang ibinahagi ng aktres na nagawa na niyang maghilom kaya masasabi na niyang deserve na niyang uminom upang ipagdiwang ang kanyang buhay.
“Now that I have been doing the inner work to heal, I can consciously drink to celebrate life because I know that I deserve a few glasses of wine every once in a while [partying face emoji],” lahad niya.
“Take it from the old Maxx: Partying to mask the pain is NEVER a good idea. Do the work to heal and you will be able to drink mindfully [folded hands],” dagdag pa ni Maxene.
