Puring-puri ng aktres na si Julia Barretto ang aktor na si Diego Loyzaga sa performance nito sa bagong pelikula nilang “Would You Be My Ex?” at ayon sa dalaga, first time niyang makasama ang aktor sa isang movie ng Viva Films.
“He’s wonderful. He’s a great person to work with. He’s such a gentleman. He’s really kind so napadali ang trabaho ng lahat because everybody got along so well. We really had so much fun while we were shooting,” sabi ni Julia.
Halos katatapos lang ipalabas ang last movie ni Julia na “Expensive Candy” at ngayon nga ay may kasunod na ito.
“I think this one is very much emotionally challenging. You know, I think there were a lot of challenges that came out with the story but because, again, everybody was so supportive of each other, parang ngging smooth talaga ang trabaho ko. It’s quite heavy and it’s emotionally challenging in that sense. I feel like, ‘yung journey ng character ko dito is on and off. She’s always like push and pull. Na-miss ko ang challenge na ‘yon,” saad ng dalaga.
“So, napagkukuhanan ‘yun ng inspiration, ‘yung character na mismo. Hindi naman kailangan na si Julia ‘yung pinagkukuhanan ng inspiration. I mean, the story itself is touching. I think marami sa ating lahat ang nakakuha ng inspiration from our characters. It doesn’t have to be real-life all the time,” dagdag pa niya.
Happy si Julia na tila bumabalik na sa normal ang lahat and this includes filming.
“I’m just so grateful na ‘Expensive Candy’ nagkaroon siya ng theatrical release. From what I know, ‘Would you Be My Ex’ will also have its own theatrical release. Whether that’s streaming platform or for theatrical release, I am just grateful na we’re all back to doing films like before and it’s normal way again. I am just glad na palaging may nao-offer every month, every week,” sabi ni Julia.
Kasama ni Julia sina Diego Loyzaga at Sylvia Sanchez na dumalo sa opening ng Limbaga 77 resto. Of course, present din si Sir Rex Tiri na siyang top executive ng T-Rex Films.
